As a noted multi-media journalist, he has interviewed many of the world’s most accomplished and celebrated personalities including Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Tavis Smiley, among other noteworthy figures including American billionaire Robert L. Johnson and Canadian billionaire Michael Lee-Chin. Zach is known for producing dynamic, memorable and content rich experiences featuring insights from these noted individuals mixed with personal reflections from his triumphs and trials. These experiences led to a personal revelation: we must take life by F.O.R.C.E. if we want to accomplish our goals. The F.O.R.C.E. is captivating college audiences, helping campuses retain students and closing the achievement gap one student at a time.
Zach was born to speak, write, and connect.
Zach began his professional journalism career at the age of 15, as a cast member of By Kids for Kids, on Miami’s WPLG ABC-TV affiliate. He also reported for Miami’s Gospel Truth Newspaper and expanded to radio and online media. Over the past two decades, he has delivered empowering messages to college, young adult, community and at-risk youth/corrections audiences. His transformative presentations are poised to inspire listeners to move toward their dreams despite their challenges. These inspiring messages are packed with potent doses of candor, insight, and laughter. U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, former U.S. Congresswoman Carrie P. Meek, former Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas, are among the dignitaries that have commended Zach’s longtime commitment to service with commendations and formal acknowledgments.

Zach is the host and producer of the Associated Press award-winning Rinkins Report. The Rinkins Report is a nationally syndicated column and radio feature carried on various media outlets throughout the country. The audience can depend on the report to deliver practical tips for financial, business, and career success. His work has been featured in Ebony Magazine, the Huffington Post, EURweb.com, Trice Edney Wire, among other media outlets.
The Florida A & M University graduate earned a Certified Public Communicator designation from the Motivational Training Center (MTC). He was also inducted into MTC’s Professional Speakers Network Speaker Hall of Fame. Additionally, Zach is a recipient of Knight-Ridder’s Silver Knight Award in Speech and won Toastmaster competitions at the chapter, district and area levels. He is the author of the upcoming book I Am College Material! Your Ultimate Guide to Unlimited College and Career Success.
